For Sooty's 2012 birthday I wanted to create a jewelry set that was deceptively simple, classically elegant and yet flexible and accomodating of more than one style. This Multi-Strand Simple Elegance necklace & earrings set was the final result.

Using some of Swarovski's most elegantly versatile pieces: Swarovski® 62023 Filigree connector, Swarovski clear Crystal channels, Swarovski XILION crystal beads with Fresh Water Pearls, Sterling Silver fine chains, and CZ studded Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver ear hooks - and I was ready to go.
The necklaces were crafted first and the earrings were made to match.
The long necklace is easily worn doubled over without need of a clasp.

There are 2 necklaces: a round the neck short necklace and a very long necklace that can be worn real long or doubled over. |

Either of the two necklaces can be on their own or together. I wanted the look to be clean and simple but it had to have little bits of brilliant sparkles along its length to catch the lights at the most enticing of times.

Matching Earrings
Note that Swarovski Headpins with clear Crystal has been used to join the fresh water pearls in the earrings and to provide that deliciously subtle sparkle at the end of the dangle earrings.
