Some DIY Notes on Crochet Flower Scarf
Making the Crochet Scarf – Putting the Pieces Together
Thread in a good length of beads (if using beads).
Tip: Pin flowers onto board as you work.
Using a latch tool, join flowers. This is random, free-hand work. Add beads, as desired, as you go along.
When you have the desired width and thickness, sew in and neaten any loose yarn. Gently press flowers with iron.
Attach buttons. Note that at the other side of each button, I have tied off the yarn and made little “fluffs” for the flower center. In this way, the crochet scarf has two different flower surfaces: buttons on one, and fluff on the other. Each center has a small dab of glue for extra security.
