I made this pincushion a couple of years ago. So I will just show some photos that depict the making of this Easter Bunny pincushion; not a written tutorial.
How to Make Easter Bunny Pincushion
First, make the domed body of the pincushion using wool roving.
Then use the template and cut out 3 oval pieces of hard, stiff cardboard.
Make the cardboard ovals smaller (than body’s).

Glue a piece of felt (yellow colour in photo) behind the domed body.
Next, glue one of the cardboard pieces on as well.

Next ...
Fit and tack down a piece of stretchy material over the domed body.
Just any stretch material. This will not be seen later. But it will provide a thicker feel to the piece.
Cut around the shape, leaving a seam.
Snip the seam for the curves and fold the seam to the back.
Glue the seam edges down.

Draw 2 full-size oval shapes on the stretchy material you will be using for the body.
Place WS (wrong sides) together and pin. Then trim around, leaving some seam.
Sew around using the guidelines. But leave a significant gap. (In the photo, it is towards the bottom.)

Turn inside out.
Insert domed body via the gap left open.
Neaten and sew down the gap.

Making the ears and Embellishments
Cut material for the ears.
Two pieces for each year.
Optional: glue on fluffiness.
Sew them neatly together.

While not seen in the above photos, I placed another suede backing behind the domed body. You will see this in the later photos.
Now I am going to rush through the rest of the stopes. I think you can figure out the rest of the steps.
I used (dark brown) suede for the back piece for the Easter Bunny pincushion. Glue the last of the smaller cardboards onto one of back suede pieces. Then put the 2 pieces of dark brown suede together.
Also but another (lighter) suede piece for the center flap. This is for storing pins or needles.
Finish off by neatening all around the edges, e.g. with a blanket stitch.
