So why do I call this the "Purple Friends" set? It is quite mesmerising when you stare at this. The delectable purple of the cubic zirconia (CZ) long tear-drop pendant dominants. And yet, it has such a warmly friendly character when topped with the Swarovski pearls in Gemstone colors. So it does seem to me as if it should be called "Purple Friends"!
This handmade jewelry set is quite easy to make, very restful to create, and a delight to wear.
The CZ tear drops are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire, creating a closed loop at the top which is securely attached to a short length of chains.
The 4mm Swarovski pearls are formed into little charm balls using ball-headed headpins. Again, wire wrap to form secure loop at the top - attaching to aforesaid short length of chain.
I have used a sterling silver small flower bail to create the pendant, and is seen here hung off from a Sterling Silver .925 fine chain.
