Simply Elegant Multi-Strand Necklace for a Beautiful Friend
For Sooty’s birthday I wanted to create a jewelry set that was deceptively simple, classically elegant and yet flexible and accommodating of more than one style. This Multi-Strand Necklace in simple elegance with matching earrings was the final result.
This multi-strand necklace and earrings set make use of some of Swarovski’s most elegantly versatile pieces: Swarovski® 62023 Filigree connector, Swarovski clear Crystal channels, Swarovski XILION crystal beads with Fresh Water Pearls, Sterling Silver fine chains, and CZ studded Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver ear hooks.
The necklaces were crafted first and the earrings were made to match.
The 2 Necklaces
There are 2 necklaces: a shorter, round the neck necklace, and a very long necklace that can be worn real long or doubled over. The long necklace is easily worn doubled over without need of a clasp.
Either of the two necklaces can be worn on their own or together. I wanted the look to be clean and simple but with little bits of brilliant sparkles along its length to catch the lights at the most enticing of times.

The Earrings
Note: Swarovski Headpins with clear Crystal has been used to join the fresh water pearls in the earrings and to provide that deliciously subtle sparkle at the end of the dangle earrings.
